Q: The text is too small to read. How can I enlarge it?
A: If you are using the Online online, You can expand the type size in your Web browser using your type preferences if you are having trouble reading the story. If you are using the PDF online (full newspaper version) you can enlarge the text using the magnifying glass in Adobe Acrobat from the menu bar.

Q: When I've clicked a story, how can I make the story window larger?
A: Make sure that your browser window is fully open. You can click in the upper right corner to maximize the window.

Q: Are the advertising inserts ("flyers") available online?
A: No, they are not available online.

Q: What is "Basket"?
A: The Basket, an available selection in the many windows, allows you to save the information to a users holding area for later review. It will stay in your basket until you remove it. You may want to clip classifieds and display advertisements items to use later. The Basket will purge based on your selected content scheduled run-time.

Q: Where are the obituaries?
A: They are only accessible to onine subscribers. Obituaries are in the left column and PDF version (full newspaper version).

Q: Where are back issues?
A: As we accumulate information it will become available to Subscribers in our Archive area for a fee.

Q: What if I am only interested in articles about, say, Seaport?
A: The clickable edition makes it easier than ever to find specific coverage. Using Search, type in Seaport or Seaport College and links to any coverage will appear — no matter where they are.

Q: Can I print out articles, photos, and features?
A: Yes. Simply click the element you want to print, and click the print icon in the top toolbar or select print from the File menu.

Q: Will my information given at sign-up be given to any third parties?
A: No. This information is for internal use only. Those who subscribe to the online may receive occasional e-mails from The Hour, but your personal data will not be sold or otherwise shared with outside parties.

Q: What exactly is a PDF?
Portable Document Format (PDF) is the de facto standard for the secure and reliable distribution and exchange of electronic documents and forms around the world. Check out the in dept information from Adobe.

Q: Can I download the paper as a PDF?
A: A PDF, or high-resolution image, is primarily for users who want to download the entire paper for offline use. We recommend you download one page at a time. The newspaper's individual articles and ads are already optimized for Web viewing. But if you want to download a PDF of the paper you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer.

Q: Does the PDF download take a long time?
A: On a broadband connection (DSL, Cable and T1), a single page takes just seconds. On a dialup connection, it could be as long as several minutes.
